“I’m Sandra Morgan and I’ve been here for most of my life. I’m 66 years of age and I’m the president of the precinct. I lived and worked at various stations around Queensland and I was 14 years old when I first went out to work on the sheep and cattle stations. I had to be responsible at an early age for my younger brothers and sisters. I married and had six children and I have 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. My grandparents were part of the stolen generation and my parents were the first generation born here from the stolen generation.”
